Joseph Pagel, a 33-year-old track and field coach and math teacher at Mohave High School, was arrested in March 2015 after a student told authorities that Pagel sent her nude photos and sexually explicit text messages, and allegedly invited students to his home to smoke marijuana. In July, Pagel pleaded guilty to luring a minor for sexual exploitation and transferring marijuana (part of a plea deal).
